  • Redd Retail are now looking for experienced Project Managers, that are looking to go places, that have an edge and want to work with the best in the business.

    Ideally you should have experience with project management within the retail world, covering shop in shop programmes, window / instore displays, roll outs and much more!

    A special focus is on customer service and working with teams from design approval through to completion, ensuring the highest level of quality and overall client satisfaction is achieved.

    You will have excellent communication skills as well as being a great administrator with strong organisational skills.

    We’re looking for someone that has already cut their teeth in the retail design arena. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience having worked internationally and with global brands from a variety of sectors.

    The Job Role

    • Based at our head office in Leicestershire.

    • You will be responsible for Project planning and the project delivery.

    • To manage the delivery of complex retail installations; including project planning, financial management and quality control.

    • Respond and be reactive to any changes in plan and specification and ensure that these are kept within budget, and to the required standard.

    • Attend meetings with and liaise with clients to explain and confirm all aspects including materials, budgets and project timelines.

    • Visit contractors to discuss live projects in order to create a consistency from design to implementation.

    • Develop and build relationships with external contractors and suppliers to ensure effective implementation of design brief.

    • Produce costs and estimates.

    • Work closely alongside the internal team and external business partners to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget and to a high standard.

    • Liaise directly with clients, sharing ideas and creating critical paths

    • Negotiate prices and lead times with suppliers

    • Demonstrate a flexible approach to ensure deadlines are achieved

    • Responsible for the submission of Health and Safety documentation along with Risk Assessments in the required format and timescales, as required.

    • Visits to suppliers, customers and sites as needed.

    • From time to time undertake travel to events and working on-site for a period of time, as required. This also may include overnight as well as regular international travel and stop over for larger projects, when required.

    • Build and develop relationships with other team members to create a flexible based organisation.

    • Maintain and update knowledge of materials, range and nature, to produce leading edge cost effective designs.

    • Overcome problems through the use of lateral thinking innovation and initiative.

    • To manage your own time when overseeing projects, often involving conflicting priorities.

    • Skills and Experience At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within POS / Shop fit

    • Able to prioritise and work across multiple projects at the same time

    • You will be self-motivated, pro-active and driven

    • Ability to take both initiative and direction

    • Full driving licence

    • Support from management to grow and develop further within a progressive international company.

  • Candidates will be required to work as part of a close-knit team in our on-site production facilities and will be supported by our Operations Manager.

    With the opportunity of travel throughout and outside of the U.K., no one day is the same at Redd, and responsibilities can range from site preparation / assembly, glass bonding, graphic production through to installing event displays and exhibition stands at the biggest watch and jewellery shows in the UK and around the world.

    This role is perfect for candidates looking for a new challenge, as full training and support will be provided.

    The Role:

    • Working within a small fitting and glass bonding team

    • Installing a range of POS units / exhibitions / wall bays

    • Site preparation / assembly

    • Occasional graphic production / application

    • Using a range of air, hand and power tools

    • Basic wiring and testing of finished installations

    • Quality conscious with an eye for detail

    • Maintenance and repairs to already installed POS units

    • Removal and disconnection of POS units already in place

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Hands-on approach and a team player

    • Good decision making and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to work under pressure

    • Flexible approach as some projects may require occasional evening and weekend work.

    • Previous POS/Retail experience preferred but not essential

    • Previous glass bonding experience preferred but not essential

    • Experience of PAT testing preferred but not essential

    • Previous installation experience preferred but not essential

    • Previous assembly experience preferred but not essential

    • Full training and support provided for the successful applicant

    • Assist in creating new and unique 3D renderings for retail display concepts.

    • Support the design team in developing detailed presentations with specifications.

    • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas aligned with client briefs.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and production staff, to ensure design feasibility & quality.

    • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in 3D design and retail displays.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Educated to degree level with a design background.

    • Experience in 3D Studio Max, Blender and V-Ray as well as working in a studio environment is advantageous.

    • Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite applications.

    • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

    • Self motivated with excellent presentation & communication skills for teamwork both visually and verbally.

    • A portfolio demonstrating relevant academic or personal projects.

  • An exciting opportunity to join the development team of an international retail design agency specialising in the watch, jewellery and accessories categories.

    Working with a unique team of talented individuals to create branded displays, shop-in-shop interiors, Interactive tech attractor fixtures and pop -up exhibition spaces.

     

    Key areas of Responsibility

    • Bring concepts to reality by taking briefs from the Creative team to develop concepts primarily in Solidworks for prototype and manufacture.

    • Working closely with project managers and manufacturers to create robust but cost-effective designs with a keen eye for detail.

    • Creating stable 3D CAD models and detailed drawings suitable for manufacturing with BOM breakdowns.

    • Prototyping and testing new concepts.

    • Liaising with suppliers in order to stay up to date with advances in materials and technology.

     

    Skills and Experience

    • Minimum 2 years experience in the retail design industry

    • Must be proficient in Solidworks, 3D modelling and 2D drawing creation

    • AutoCAD not essential but a bonus

    • Excellent knowledge of a variety of materials and manufacturing processes

    • Experience designing for joinery, glass, metal fabrication, acrylic fabrication

    • Good time management skills and able to work on multiple projects at a time

    • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

    • Be able to communicate complex solutions in a simple and clear manner

    • Great comprehension skills, able to understand required design standards, store guidelines and brand guidelines

    • Be proactive and efficient, able to work in a team or on your own initiative

    • Be positive in all communication help direct and steer teams, provide support and direction with problem solving
